Services FAQ
Do you manage the full construction, or design only?
We offer both. Design-only engagements (space planning, drawings, specifications) are available for clients who have their own trusted contractor. Full project management — where we manage the contractor, conduct site visits, and handle procurement — is available and recommended for most residential projects. The scope is agreed at proposal stage.
What is the minimum project size you accept?
There is no minimum sqft requirement. We take on single-room renovations and individual kitchen or bathroom redesigns as well as complete 4,000+ sqft duplexes. The discovery call will help us assess whether the project is a good fit for our process and capacity.
Can you work within a tight budget?
Yes. Budget is a design constraint, not an obstacle. Good design is about making the right decisions within whatever budget exists — not spending more than necessary. We will tell you honestly at the outset what is achievable within your budget, and we will not propose a scope we cannot deliver within it.
Do you provide RAJUK-compliant drawings?
Yes. As a licensed architect, Ar. Kabir produces drawings compliant with RAJUK and Dhaka City Corporation requirements. We manage the submission process and liaise with authorities on the client’s behalf where required.
How long does a typical residential project take?
Design phase: 2–4 weeks for a standard apartment, 4–8 weeks for a large duplex or full architectural project. Implementation: 8–14 weeks for up to 1,500 sqft, 16–24 weeks for larger homes. These timelines assume prompt client feedback and no structural complications. We provide a detailed Gantt chart at proposal stage.
Do you work with clients based outside Bangladesh?
Yes. We work regularly with diaspora Bangladeshis managing renovation or construction projects remotely. The discovery call and all design reviews can be conducted via Google Meet or Zoom. We provide video site walkthroughs, detailed progress photography, and full documentation throughout — so you remain in control regardless of where you are.
